About Us
To learn, to serve, to advance
618 Queen City Squadron has been proudly serving the air cadet program in downtown Toronto for over 70 years.
The air cadet program provides youth with opportunities to develop valuable skills such as teamwork, leadership, and public speaking, along with personal benefits of increased self-confidence, discipline, initiative, and decision making. The specialization in aviation allows our cadets to explore what it would be like to have careers in the aerospace industry with opportunities to experience flying, aircraft maintenance, operations and more!

Our vision as a cadet squadron is to empower young leaders through an engaging and dynamic curriculum that fosters a youth-leading-youth program. We strive to create a fun learning environment, which provides coaching and mentorship to youth, to ensure that they become capable leaders who can deliver the program in a manner that reflects the Air Cadet mission.

Meet The Team
Our Squadron is led day‑to‑day by Staff Cadets, while our Adult Staff ensure the program is safe, well‑run, and enriching. This team includes members of the Canadian Armed Forces and screened civilian volunteers who provide supervision, mentorship, and behind‑the‑scenes support. Many of the adults were cadets themselves and now give back while balancing full‑time work or post‑secondary studies.
